Message from the Chairs

It gives us a great pleasure to invite you to participate in the International Institute of Welding (IIW) International Congress 2009, to be held November 30th, through December 3rd, in Tehran, Iran. The congress, hosted by the IWREC, is organized to summon up scientists and engineers interested in recent developments in all branches of Welding and Joining and associated technologies.

We are planning an exciting and informative set of invited talks, tutorial sessions, oral and poster presentations, and exhibitions reviewing the latest developments in these fields. We hope that you will visit this pioneering event either as a contributor to spread your excellent knowledge by lecturing and publishing the results, or as a visitor just listening attentively to the present experts in the beautiful lecture halls of congress venue.

As technical sponsor, the IIW encourages all professors, researchers, students and expert in the field to attend and contribute to the congress. We are now soliciting contributed papers in all areas of welding and joining and associated technologies.
